Push notifications only work after this page becomes an app on your Home Screen. Requires iOS 16.4 or later. Nothing here changes the live Sun City Subs board.

ANDROID You’re previewing the iPhone instructions. The pictured iPhone screens are for reference, so you can see exactly what an iPhone user sees. Your Android install controls are still available after this guide.

First, make sure this is Safari. If the link opened inside Messages, Mail, Gmail, or Facebook, use that app’s menu and choose Open in Safari.

Tap Safari’s Share button

It is the square with the arrow pointing up. On most iPhones it is at the bottom of the screen.

Tap “Add to Home Screen”

Swipe up on the Share menu if you do not see it right away. Do not choose “Add Bookmark.”

Tap the blue “Add” button

Leave the name as SCS Push. The orange sun icon will be placed on your Home Screen.

This icon opens the notification test as its own app.

Tap “Add” in the top-right corner ↑

Open the new “SCS Push” app

You will return to your Home Screen. Tap the new orange sun icon—not the old Safari tab.

The iPhone question appears only once. If you previously tapped “Don’t Allow,” open iPhone Settings → Notifications → SCS Push and turn on Allow Notifications.

2. Send the test sequence

One tap schedules six pushes from the server. You can lock the phone — the app does not need to stay open.
